Antoinette has a degree in private law and criminal law at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. She has completed a Post graduate course on Personal Injury. She has over 30 years of experience as a personal injury lawyer. Among other things, she assists the relatives of the MH-17 disaster. She is a specialist in cross-border liability, employer liability and international private law.
She was one of the founders of the Pan-European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers European Association (PEOPIL) founded in 1997, of which she became the first female president from 2009 up to September 2013.
